The most important part of candle care and safety is trimming your wicks. You should trim it to 1/4" before your first burn and trim any carbon build up between burns down to 1/4". This will maintain your candle safely and decrease any soot or smoke. We feel these are the most important part of burning candles so we will keep the price on our Wick Trimmers low.
